About
Curt Hines picked up his first electric guitar at age 10 and has been writing and performing ever since. After taking the stage with his high school band, Breach, at Aris’ 1995 Hometown Rock Search, he has played with Grand Rapids favorites Molly and Miles to Mars, West Michigan’s own The Verve Pipe, and toured as lead guitarist for platinum-selling K’s Choice/Sam Bettens. His career spans clubs, festivals, and major stages alongside acts like Foo Fighters, R.E.M., and Oasis. He fronts Cold Cash Machine, releasing Memory Overdose (2004) and Past Perfect (2023), and drew inspiration from years playing Lower Broadway for Nashville (2023). Offstage, Curt brings his experience to engineering and producing for local artists Gunner and the Grizzly Boys, Acoustic Reserve, and Joe Rood, along with The Voice South Africa finalist Almur Marais.
